Responsibilities
- Optimize performance and stability across production database systems
- Monitor systems proactively to catch and resolve issues before they escalate
- Help reduce reliance on external database providers
- Collaborate cross-team on database best practices and cost optimization
Required Experience
You've run production databases and know how to keep them healthy under real load. Specifically:
- Hands-on expertise with MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
- Comfortable across both on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms (AWS RDS, Azure)
- Strong database tuning, troubleshooting, and maintenance skills
- A proactive, get-ahead-of-it problem-solving approach
- Fluent English

- Experience in SaaS environments
- Background with high-volume production systems
- Experience with service or platform migrations
