This assignment supports an AI cybersecurity company migrating its legacy dashboards onto an updated AWS QuickSight platform.
In this role, you will:
Migrate legacy dashboards to an updated platform, with everything consolidated within AWS QuickSight.
Own an end-to-end understanding of how data is brought in to support the dashboards — from source through to visualization.
Help bring datasets in for visualization as needed, working with SQL, ETL processes, Amazon Athena, and some Terraform.
Work as the sole owner of the migration itself, while drawing on data engineering support provided by the client's team for the underlying pipeline work.
Collaborate closely with other teams to validate dashboard outputs, making sure migrated dashboards accurately reflect the data and logic of the originals.
You will thrive if:
You're a senior data analyst with hands-on, specific experience in AWS QuickSight and AWS Redshift.
You're comfortable owning a migration end-to-end as a solo contributor, while still collaborating heavily with data engineering and other teams for support and validation.
You have working knowledge of SQL, ETL pipelines, Amazon Athena, and some exposure to Terraform.
You can get up to speed quickly and work independently with minimal ramp-up time, given the project's short timeline (3 months)
You're available to start within about a month, ideally at full-time allocation.
You're comfortable with occasional on-site presence at the client's Espoo office, alongside remote work.
