Background
Our customer has been building a datalake to ingest and normalize payment data. Initially, this supported their operational processes, but now the aim is to expose this data to their internal data platform for wider analytical and business use.
Assignment Goals
We are looking for a freelance Data Engineer to strengthen the customer's team and help to move forward with:
- Introducing DBT and enabling data exposure in Snowflake for analysts and business users.
- Improving the overall data engineering architecture of their datalake.

Collaboration Setup
- You will join the internal team of three professionals, who have strong backgrounds in traditional software development.
- We are specifically looking for someone with solid data engineering experience to complement the team’s existing skillset.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong hands-on experience with data engineering (pipelines, modeling, transformations).
- Practical knowledge of DBT and Snowflake.
- Familiarity with Python and AWS is essential; Typescript experience is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
