Our client is undergoing a transformation where they are migrating their current on-premise cloud solution to Google Cloud Platform. The selected expert will act as the technical lead, responsible for setting up the GCP environment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools in alignment with the client's internal processes. The team is developing automated solutions to optimize the customer experience of the end-user Wi-Fi network.
Required Skills:
- GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent)
- Proven experience in building services in GCP from scratch and/or migrating services to GCP
- Terraform and/or Pulumi
- Kubernetes
- VertexAI
- Strong experience with microservices and cloud-native architecture
- Background in event-based architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka)
- Proficiency in Java or Go
- Experience in software development following agile/lean principles
- Hands-on knowledge of GCP's AI and ML tools and ability to create development processes for use cases
- Proactive, self-driven, and quick to learn new technologies
- Willingness to contribute to improving team practices and development processes
The working mode is hybrid: the team works onsite Helsinki together once a week. Also, the team has a development day onsite once a month.
