We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build, evolve and operate data products for an international technology company. The products combine and reason over data from existing data stores, internal REST APIs and domain-specific datasets.
You will develop production-grade agentic business logic using AWS Bedrock and build the MCP servers and agent-to-agent integrations around it. This is higher-level product development on top of an existing data platform rather than raw data processing.
The services run globally across multiple AWS regions, organizations and accounts. They serve millions of end users and operate under strict 24/7 availability and performance requirements. The systems must support auto-scaling, automatic failover, rapidly changing workloads and imperfect input data.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing production-grade agentic business logic on AWS Bedrock
- Building and operating secure MCP servers and A2A integrations
- Developing backend services with Python and TypeScript/Node.js
- Consuming data from internal REST APIs and multiple data stores
- Designing and developing REST APIs for other services and teams
- Building scalable solutions with ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS and S3
- Using AWS data services such as Glue, Athena and SageMaker
- Designing resilient multi-region and multi-account architectures
- Owning CI/CD, releases and infrastructure as code
- Monitoring and operating the services you build
- Maintaining automated tests and strict quality and security gates
- Working according to a “you build it, you run it” model
- Collaborating with international teams, primarily in Europe and North America
Skills we are looking for:
- Strong professional experience with Python and TypeScript/Node.js
- Proven experience designing distributed backend services
- Experience building large-scale services with strict availability and performance SLAs
- Hands-on knowledge of AWS services, particularly ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS and S3
- Experience with AWS data tooling such as Glue and Athena
- Experience building services on top of LLMs or AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock or SageMaker
- Understanding of agentic business logic and AI-powered service architectures
- Experience designing and consuming production-grade REST APIs
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, AWS CDK or CloudFormation
- CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana and/or AWS CloudWatch
- Strong automated testing practices and comfort working with strict CI quality gates
- Experience owning services throughout their full lifecycle: design, build, release, deployment, monitoring and operations
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in business-critical systems
- Customer-oriented mindset and a high level of ownership
- Fluent spoken and written English
We also expect you to use modern agentic development practices and tools in your own workflow, such as Claude Code or Cursor. Experience with multi-agent development harnesses and agentic-loop-based development is highly relevant.
Nice to have
- Experience designing and securing MCP servers
- Knowledge of A2A or other agent-to-agent integration patterns
- AWS multi-account, cross-account and multi-region experience
- Experience building and operating large-scale data pipelines
- Experience with ML serving or inference pipelines
- Understanding of challenges related to code and model version skew
- Experience operating high-volume systems with strict SLAs
- Experience working in regulated or certified environments, such as ISO 9001 or SOC 2 Type 2
- Experience working in a global organization with international teams
