Our leading retail customer is looking for a senior data scientist, experienced in designing and training state-of-art deep learning models and developing scalable, production grade solutions that solve the business problems by utilizing the trained models. In the assignment you will join the senior team of very skilled full-stack data scientists and software developers to implement and deploy ground breaking AI solutions to the variety of business problems, including advanced recommendation systems and intelligent assortment planning services. Based on your skills and experience, you can take responsibility of variety of specializiation areas in the team, including
- Deep learning model architecture design
- Model training
- GPU programming
- MLOps
To succeed in the role you have:
- Strong experience in designing and training deep learning models
- Good conceptual understanding of modern AI model architectures, e.g. transformers
- Strong experience in TensorFlow or PyTorch, Experience with Ray is a plus
- Experience in GPU programming and large scale MLOps is a big plus
- Rock solid software engineering skills, experience in deploying AI solutions to production in an enterprise setup
The assignment requires regular onsite days at customer's HQ in Helsinki (ca 2 days / week).
