We are looking for a hands‑on technical consultant / architect / analyst to analyze existing systems and produce structured architectural and functional artifacts.

The role focuses on analyzing existing source code, system structures, and technical documentation using AI‑assisted tools, and converting the findings into concrete, structured outputs.

The main objective is to provide clear, usable technical and functional artifacts (not just reports) that support design and decision‑making.

Your responsibilities

Use GitHub Copilot, GitHub MCP, and Confluence MCP tools to analyze existing business system source code, technical documentation, and high‑level materials
Identify implemented functionality, functional gaps, overlaps, and dependencies between systems
Produce AI‑assisted, structured analysis artifacts such as feature inventories, use‑case inventories, and functional flow overviews
Create process flow diagrams, application overviews, and business architecture diagrams to support design
Document and maintain analysis outputs in Confluence using Atlassian MCP tools

Requirements

Strong hands-on mindset (not just conceptual consulting)
Ability to work directly with code, APIs, and system structures at a high level
Experience bridging technical analysis and business understanding
Comfortable working in uncertain and evolving scope

Experience with:

Reading and understanding codebases (analysis level)
Architecture, requirement management
AI-assisted tools for code and document analysis / Github Copilot and some MCPs
Diagramming tools (e.g., Confluence tools, Mermaid or similar)

This role is with hybrid working model with weekly attendance at the client's premises in Helsinki expected.
