In this role, you will:
- Design and build a modern data platform from the ground up on Azure, while modernizing and refactoring legacy data pipelines.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement cloud data solutions that support scalable analytics, structured data management, and production-ready workflows.
- Establish data governance, audit trails, and compliant infrastructure aligned with EU-based requirements for clinical research environments.
- Develop data storage and lifecycle approaches that balance immutable data handling with deletion rights and other regulatory needs.
- Work closely with algorithm and data development teams to support the operationalization of data-driven solutions.
You will thrive if:
- You have experience in clinical/healthcare data environments; medical device experience is especially valuable.
- You bring solid Azure platform expertise along with deep knowledge of data architecture, ETL pipelines, SQL, and structured data management.
- You are comfortable implementing governance, traceability, and auditability in modern cloud data platforms.
- You understand modern data and machine learning engineering practices, including supporting or deploying models into production.
- You communicate clearly in English and enjoy working as an embedded member of a cross-functional team in a hybrid Helsinki setup.
