We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / Python Developer to join a project migrating existing invoicing and debt collection data products from AWS to Azure, with the solution built on Databricks. The work is mainly migration but includes some rebuilding, with data currently ingested from three source databases, processed in AWS/Databricks, and delivered to three Power BI reports in Azure. The key priority is the rapid decommissioning of legacy AWS EMR-based solutions.
Required skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in Python development (senior level)
- Solid background in building batch data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Proven experience with Databricks and PySpark
- Knowledge of streaming data pipelines is an advantage
- Azure knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory
- Working language: Finnish or English
The work mode is hybrid, with the team working onsite approx. 1 day every three weeks.
