You will be a key player in the design, verification, and iteration of complex digital hardware prototypes into production-grade hardware designs used in high-performance testing environments. Your responsibilities will span from schematic design and prototype bring-up to making critical updates based on testing and evolving requirements. You’ll work closely with the lab team.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance digital circuit boards for demanding test systems
- Take ownership of hardware modules that include components such as:
- High-performance embedded compute (HPC) modules
- Large-scale FPGAs
- High-speed data links
- DDR4 memory banks
- GPU modules
- Perform board bring-up, verification, and troubleshooting in the lab
- Update schematics and designs in response to test results and evolving system requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external experts to ensure seamless integration
- Create and maintain documentation related to design and testing processes
Required Skills & Experience
- Senior-level experience in complex digital hardware design and verification
- Proven track record of working with:
- High-speed digital interfaces and memory architectures
- FPGAs and embedded systems
- Board-level bring-up and debugging in a lab environment
- Strong schematic design skills (schematic & layout)
- Experience with hardware simulations (pre-layout/post-layout) is a plus
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and proactively drive improvements
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative R&D environment
