We are looking for a senior-level consultant to join a IoT product development team that will be responsible for the full lifecycle of industrial IoT solutions. This role is focused on productization, cloud integration, and industrial automation, requiring experience with PLC systems, embedded solutions, and cloud platforms.
Ideal profile:
Ideal profile:
- Solid background in industrial automation, including PLC systems and embedded solutions
- Hands-on experience with IoT product development, integration, and productization.
- Familiar with Azure cloud, data pipelines, and cloud-based IoT solutions (AWS is a plus)
- Previous experience working in industrial settings (e.g., manufacturing, machinery).
- Comfortable working with both software and hardware environments.
- Strong documentation skills and experience working in a consultative, client-facing role.
- Experience with Aveva software or similar industrial IoT/data management solutions is a plus.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and provide clear technical leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Productization of industrial IoT products, including both hardware and software
- PLC and embedded system integration with cloud platforms
- Ensure smooth data flow from devices to the cloud
- Deployment of IoT solutions and customer-facing deliveries
- Documentation of the product development process and maintenance
- Involvement in testing and validation of hardware (sensors, gateways, etc.)
- Support end-to-end product deployment, from creation to customer delivery and maintenance
Ideally, the consultant would be located in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area and be able to visit the office approximately once a week.
