Our client is looking for an experienced Network Architect
Description
Description
- Senior-level Network Architect with deep hands-on expertise to support efficient solutions to modernise and future-proof network infrastructure for the next 5–10 years.
- Client is looking for - in addition to deep technical knowhow - strategy level expertise with the ability to challenge current practices, connect effortlessly with all the stakeholders
- Candidate should have a modern, agile and security-first approach to network infrastructure.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of networks:
- layer 1: WAN connection types, provider connection types, LAN connection types
- layer 2: Vlan’s, Portchannels, sub interfaces vs trunk
- layer 3: IP, Routing, VRF
- Must have knowledge and experience of Firewalls (Fortigate & Forcepoint)
- Knowledge of Cisco (Certified)
- Ability to analyse complex network infrastructures, determine the root cause for performance deficiencies, propose efficient solutions, and manage its implementation.
- Knowledgeable about modern networking (SDWAN, Cloud Networking, Zero Trust, etc).
- Telephony/VoIP infra management and migration projects.
- Understanding of technical offers from telecom providers, and ability to select the most appropriate services for each need / Telecom providers management
- Project management experience
- Fluent written and spoken English
Client expects the candidate work a few days / week at Helsinki office in the beginning. Also, 3-4 trips within EU during the year.
