As the Tech Lead and Analytics Architect, you will lead the team and take responsibility for the technology. You will define principles for the analytics and data warehouse layers, modeling standards, and semantic consistency at the domain level. You will set common practices for domain modeling, metrics, and dbt architecture so that domain teams can develop their own data products independently but compatibly. You will oversee KPI management, the quality of the semantic layer, and the development of related tools and operating models. Additionally, you will support Analytics Engineers and domain experts, and ensure that Gold-level data consistently serves reporting and other consumption needs.
Experience and Competence Requirements:
- (Must have): Working with data warehouse solutions
- (Must have): Working in an architect role in designing data warehouse architecture (Lakehouse) and developing operating models
- (Must have): Finnish language
- Working with Unity Catalog solutions
- Working with CI/CD pipelines (for example Azure DevOps)
- Maintaining dbt solutions and managing architecture
- Working with the Python language
- Working with the SQL language
- Leading a Scrum team
- Data quality monitoring and tools
- Experience with Databricks Dashboards
- Making API definitions
- Defining semantic data models
- Working with Azure Databricks
- Training and rolling out modeling practices
- Experience with data catalog solutions
- Experience with data development in the operations and processes of an electricity network company
- Experience with data development in the operations and processes of a transmission system operator
