In this role, you will develop scalable backend solutions and automation tools that support operational processes and service provisioning. The main objective is to design and build modern cloud-native services using event-driven architectures, AI-assisted development practices, and close collaboration with domain experts.

- Backend development experience with Golang
- Proven designing and building microservices and event-driven architectures
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms
- Experience developing cloud-native services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Production-level experience with Kubernetes
- Use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) as part of daily software development
- Self-driven, proactive mindset with the ability to quickly learn and navigate complex technical domain
Nice to have
- IP/MPLS domain and other networking expertise
- Experience with Google Spanner
- Familiarity with Vertex AI
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform
- Fluency in Finnish language is seen as a plus, but not required

The contract for this assignment is an on-going one (no end date). The preferred starting date is ASAP, but there is flexibility to start between October and January. The person selected for the role need to pass the security clearance by SUPO.
