Our client is implementing Apache Superset alongside their existing Tableau reporting system, with the goal of testing whether some BI reports can be delivered through Superset—thus achieving cost savings and strengthening security.
They are now looking for an experienced BI Developer to drive the project forward and train the internal development team in adopting Superset. The infrastructure is currently being set up by the internal team, and this role will start in November, once the infrastructure is in place.
The expert is expected to provide insight into:
- What changes need to be made to the database when moving a report from Tableau to Superset
- Which use cases Superset is suitable for
- Best practices for using the technology
The reports will source their data either from Google BigQuery or other systems.
Requirements:
- Experience in Apache Superset development is a must
- Experience with other BI tools, preferably Tableau
- Experience in database development, preferably BigQuery
- Experience with ADE and Data Vault 2.0 is considered a plus
- Strong communication skills in English
Candidates will be presented to the client in week 39.
