We are looking for a skilled Data Platform Engineer to support our client in the banking industry. You will be part of a team responsible for managing cloud environments, containerized applications, and CI/CD processes, with a strong emphasis on data engineering platforms. You will work in a cloud-native environment, supporting DevOps practices across Azure and AWS platforms. Your tasks include managing Kubernetes-based deployments, implementing IaC using Terraform, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and working closely with data engineering platforms like Databricks and Snowflake. The role also involves working with both relational and non-relational databases, ensuring their performance and reliability.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with Azure and AWS cloud platforms
- Experience in network configuration and cloud security protocols
- Solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (esp. in Azure CASSA environments)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions
- Infrastructure automation using Terraform (IaC)
- Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, including performance optimization
- Strong expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake
- Proficiency in Snowflake and SQL-based data warehousing
- Willingness to work onsite at our client's Helsinki offic at least once/week
