Our remarkable customer in the telecom sector is looking for a proactive Software Developer with a strong Java background.

You’ll join an experienced development team working on large-scale initiatives together with highly skilled professionals. A proactive mindset, ability to take ownership and specify what needs to be done are key for success in this role. Cultural fit and mindset play a significant role in the decision making.

Required and beneficial skills

Strong background in Java
Scala and Golang experience beneficial
Knowledge of event-based architectures (e.g. Kafka) in addition to request–response / REST interfaces
Experience or interest in authentication-related topics considered an advantage

Practicalities

Language: English required, Finnish seen as an advantage
Start: As soon as possible
Security clearance: Required, project start is possible during the process (with limited accesses)
On-site work: At least twice a week at the Helsinki office
