Join a large organization’s data team to strengthen its Snowflake-based data platform. We’re looking for a modeling-minded data engineer who works closely with business stakeholders and helps turn large volumes of customer data into well-structured, usable data products.

In this role, you will:
- Develop and model data in Snowflake, supporting an existing Snowflake developer in an ongoing project.
- Design data models and data products on top of large volumes of customer data.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and challenge how data is collected and used.
- Collaborate with an internal Snowflake integration team that provides business-specific data on top of the central platform.
- Handle sensitive customer data with care, following data security and management practices.
You will thrive if:
- You have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt and SQL, and a modeler’s mindset toward data engineering.
- You have experience working in an Azure environment.
- You have worked with large data volumes and sensitive customer data, for example in banking, retail or healthcare.
- You’re proactive and curious, and you’re not afraid to question the way things are done. Attitude matters more than years of experience.
- You’re fluent in English (Finnish not required, the project runs in English).
- As a plus: Terraform and AWS.
- You’re based in Finland, ideally, with occasional office visits possible.
