Our energy sector client is looking for an expert to analyze and resolve performance issues in WildFly production servers. The role will focus on:
- Analysis and first-aid troubleshooting of WildFly performance issues in the production environment.
- Collaboration with R&D to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Design and implementation of configuration and optimization solutions, especially related to database traffic and the handling of blocking sessions.
- Supporting the team in WildFly operations and applying best practices.
- Managing critical production incidents (“putting out fires”) and conducting post-incident analysis together with the development team.
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and background:
- Strong experience in deploying and operating WildFly (or JBoss) in production.
- Understanding of performance optimization and fault tolerance in Java application servers.
- Experience in managing database traffic, connection pool configuration, and resolving blocking session issues.
- Ability to work both as a hands-on problem solver and as a coach for the team.
- Experience in migration from other application servers (e.g., Oracle WebLogic to WildFly) is considered a plus.

The work is carried out in close cooperation with the development team and architects. The team consists of experienced senior professionals, for whom WildFly is still a relatively new platform. The working style is calm and structured. The ideal profile is a balanced and clear communicator who avoids unnecessary technical jargon and is able to explain complex technical matters in an understandable way.
