In this role, you will:
- Own customer problems end-to-end with the team, from discovery and problem framing through solution design, delivery, quality assurance, and production rollout — related to Analytics/ML/Optimization/AI B2B SaaS products, with particular emphasis on supply chain forecasting, diagnostics, and transport/logistics optimization.
- Apply data science methods — statistical modeling, machine learning, and quantitative/physics-based modeling — to improve forecasting accuracy and predictive analytics that feed downstream optimization and purchasing decisions.
- Build production-quality solutions that address real business needs, using fast feedback loops, structured customer input, and iterative release practices.
- Partner with engineering leadership — including the customer's Engineering Director and supply chain/transport optimization leads — to shape team priorities and roadmap decisions based on customer needs, product usage insights, and business outcomes.
- Act as a trusted technical and product advisor in customer-facing situations, including requirement challenge, de-escalation, feasibility validation, and delivery alignment.
- Take responsibility for post-launch success by managing releases, monitoring outcomes, and continuously improving the deployed product.
You will thrive if:
- You bring a data science background — statistics, machine learning, or quantitative/analytical modeling — alongside solid product engineering capability.
- You have some knowledge of transportation, logistics, or supply chain optimization (or a related optimization/operations-research discipline) and can connect analytical models to real operational decisions such as routing, diagnostics, and purchasing.
- You have senior-level product engineering capability and can independently lead complex, cross-functional customer engagements.
- You are skilled at turning ambiguous customer needs into clear, practical solutions, and you challenge assumptions when evidence suggests a better path.
- You communicate confidently across technical and non-technical audiences and can build trust with customers, internal stakeholders, and delivery teams alike.
- You move quickly, take ownership of outcomes, and are comfortable learning new domains fast while becoming productive in unfamiliar environments.
- You are strong with Agentic development practices.
