In this role, you will:
- Perform harmonic studies, calculations, specifications, and on-site measurements for large-scale industrial electrical networks, especially in steel plant environments.
- Design and dimension harmonic filters, including single-tuned, high-pass, and C-type solutions, to meet demanding power quality requirements.
- Support the definition of technical solutions for power quality improvement across complex electrification and automation systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders in English and contribute expert guidance from project start through implementation.
- Apply practical knowledge of relevant equipment platforms and industrial power system components to ensure robust, field-ready solutions.
You will thrive if:
- You have senior-level experience in harmonic analysis, power quality engineering, and industrial network studies.
- You have hands-on expertise with large industrial grids, particularly in steel mills or similarly heavy process industries.
- You are confident sizing and specifying harmonic filters such as single-tuned, high-pass, and C-type filters.
- You bring practical familiarity with major industrial power system and drive equipment used in demanding plant environments.
- You are comfortable working in English and can start as soon as possible or by agreement.
This is a short one to two week assignment that focuses on advanced harmonic analysis and power quality engineering for large industrial networks, particularly steel plant applications. The expert will contribute to studies, measurements, and harmonic filter design, with valuable experience in major industrial equipment ecosystems considered important. The allocation can be flexible so this is also suitable for someone who already is staffed in another project.
