In this role, you will:
- Own hands-on data migration and conversion work — profiling, mapping, and converting master data, comparison/reference figures, and open project transactions from four legacy ERP systems and their associated project-management tools into Microsoft Dynamics.
- Build the conversion approach yourself, since no dedicated data-conversion tool (e.g. Alteryx) is in place — expect to work with practical, hands-on methods such as Excel macros to get data into the right shape.
- Work directly with business units and subject-matter experts to clarify what shape and quality their data needs to be in for migration, guiding and coaching them through the process.
- Support the migration through its different phases — from design and mapping through the more intensive migration execution phase
- Contribute to a program that also involves consolidating ERP data with a broader data & analytics platform effort, since the ERP alone won't cover management reporting needs.
You will thrive if:
- You have hands-on data migration and data conversion experience — you've actually done the work, not just planned it — ideally including building your own conversion logic when no dedicated tooling is available.
- You're a strong communicator who's comfortable working directly with business-side stakeholders and subject-matter experts, guiding them on data requirements rather than waiting to be told.
- You can work independently and self-direct your own workload across a long-running, multi-year program.
- You're fluent in English (required) — Finnish is not required for this role.
- You're comfortable with a flexible allocation that varies by project phase (roughly 50–100%, averaging around 60–70%), and with occasional in-person time at the client's Helsinki (Pasila) office alongside primarily remote work.
- No need to be senior for this role, but relevant experience is required
