In this role, you will work at the intersection of data engineering, governance, and compliance, building and automating privacy-first data solutions across a modern cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain data engineering solutions on a modern cloud-based platform (including Databricks)
- Implement and manage data classification, tagging, cataloging, and access control mechanisms
- Design and enforce GDPR-compliant data lifecycle management processes
- Automate retention policies, data subject request workflows, and ROPA documentation
- Integrate vendor compliance requirements into data platform processes
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with embedded policy enforcement and automated quality controls
- Develop AI-driven tools to automate compliance reporting and documentation
- Collaborate closely with Legal, security teams, and data domain stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience in data engineering on modern cloud-based data platforms, including Databricks
- Proven expertise in data governance practices (tagging, classification, catalog management, access control)
- Solid understanding of GDPR and data privacy requirements (retention policies, data subject requests, ROPA, pseudonymization)
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines with policy enforcement and automated validation
- Demonstrated experience applying AI and automation to compliance workflows
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal and multiple data domain teams
- Strong communication skills in English and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
